Breakfast Sausage
Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 pounds ground beef or game
  • 3 Tbs fresh minced sage
  • 2 Tbs fresh minced thyme
  • 1 Tbs rosemary about 2 sprigs
  • 2 Tbs honey
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • fresh ground pepper
  • pinch red pepper flakes optional
Instructions
  1. Place the ground meat into a bowl.
  2. Place the all of the spices and honey on the meat and mix together until uniform.
  3. Form into disks or squares and cook in a skillet on medium high until browned through.
