Strawberry Milkshake Smoothie
Servings: 1
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 3/4 cup 24-hour or lactose-free yogurt
  • 20 raw macadamia nuts
  • 1 whole vanilla bean
  • 1-2 Tbs honey (or sweetener of choice)
  • 3-4 ice cubes
  • 1/4-1/2 cup water (if desired)
Instructions
  1. Place the strawberries, yogurt and macadamia nuts into a high-powered blender.

  2. Slice the vanilla bean down the length of the bean and with the backside of your knife scrape out the seeds.

  3. Place the vanilla bean seeds into the blender. 

  4. Add the honey and ice cubes to the blender. 

  5. Blend on the smoothie setting. Add water if desired for a thinner smoothie. 

  6. Serve and enjoy.
