Common SIBO Mistakes

SIBO is a complex diagnosis with many doctors now treating the digestive disorder. While I am so excited that SIBO is getting the attention it deserves many treating doctors are not experts in the field, so treatments are often not as thorough and complete and they should be. The more information you can learn and take to your doctor appointments to ask questions the better off you will be. Treatments are the most effective when they contain the proper components and when they are designed to the kind of SIBO you have. Not all SIBO is the same, for instance there are two main kinds of bacteria that make up SIBO – methane dominant and hydrogen dominant, not to mention SIFO – Small Intestine Fungal Overgrowth, and all three need to be treated differently.

My friend Kirsten Swales, a ND in Bali, recently published a YouTube video on SIBO Mistakes Everyone Makes. It is a very informative video, especially if you are new to SIBO or are feeling a little stuck in your treatments. Kirsten works with people all over the world so if you are struggling to find a good SIBO doctor she is a great ND to try, especially if you feel like access to treatment is difficult.

If you watch her video and read my free ebook called 5 Things You Need to Know About SIBO Right Now you will propel your treatment about 6 months ahead of schedule by avoiding the common mistakes most people with SIBO make.
