Welcome New Life

Friends!

Meet my new little man. Born in the middle of summer, this 8 pound, 3 ounce handsome little boy is the newest addition to my family and Journey Through SIBO. Until he is old enough to decide whether he wants his name to be posted on the internet or not, we will call him LB, short for Little Bit.

Little Bit was the name we called our son before we knew anything more about him than he existed inside of me and he was ours. Little Bit, or LB, was born a few very short weeks ago. He is a true miracle. If you have followed my story you probably know that getting pregnant and carrying a child was promised as impossible by doctors before my husband and I got married. We thought, for ten years that this would never happen. We thought that having our own child was not likely to be in our cards.

But we are ecstatic that God had other plans.

We are thrilled to have LB here with us. He is an amazing baby and (with a LOT of prayer) a good sleeper.

We are enjoying every precious moment with him and treasuring all of the blessings in our lives right now. As I am adjusting to motherhood and life with an infant I don’t quite know what will happen with this little blog. (I had big plans for the blog this year but morning sickness throughout the pregnancy got the best of me.) While I have all sorts of ideas for topics to write about and new recipes I want to share with you time can be hard to find with a new little life. So, while I am hoping to jump back into the kitchen with my favorite apron and mixing spoon and my camera strapped across my shoulder soon, I anticipate it will be a couple more months before I am back to posting and emailing regularly.

And for such a precious new life, why wouldn’t we take some time to enjoy?
